Who gets to build in today’s climate?
Throughout this workshop, 25 women from all over the world worked together, empowering one another to build their skills and confidence for building. This experience allowed for creativity, co-creation, and collaboration between each other whilst working within means that supported their learning, bodies, and workflow. The impact of this workshop led to women taking their newly learned skills home to their own communities.
This project is a tool for expanding access to learning about natural building. It introduces natural building techniques and processes. It highlights the supportive bonding that happens on site when women work together and demonstrate alternative possibilities for building.
